<p>Mount Meru & Kilimanjaro Trekking Adventure – 16 Days</p> <p>Join a guided trekking expedition led by experienced Safaria tour guides, combining the ascent of Mount Meru (4,565 m) and Kilimanjaro (5,895 m) for the ultimate East African adventure.</p> <p>We begin with a 4-day Mount Meru trek (4–5 hrs/day), encountering zebras, giraffes, and monkeys at the forested base. As we ascend, we pass through lush rainforest, moorland, and alpine desert, summiting on day four after a challenging 10–12 hour hike. This climb offers excellent acclimatization for Kilimanjaro.</p> <p>Next, we take on the 8-day Kilimanjaro trek via the remote Lemosho Route, following the Northern Circuit – the mountain’s longest and quietest path. Trekking 4–7 hours daily, we move through all ecological zones, from rainforest to high alpine desert. The final ascent day is a 13–15 hour push, gaining 1,180 m and descending 2,815 m, with breathtaking views of the Northern Icefields and Kenyan highlands.</p> <p>Expect incredible solitude, varied landscapes, volcanic terrain, and unforgettable summit sunrises above the clouds.
